Measuring Suggestions |
 |
We are happy to provide the below suggestions for measuring for shower curtains. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Measuring tips!
- We recommend you use a metal measuring tape as flexible cloth tapes are not accurante and may stretch.
- Record measurements clearly and mark what is width and what is length. It's a common mistake to mix up these measurements!
- Round measurements to the nearest one-eighth (1/8) of an inch. Be precise and double-check all your measurements.

Measure the width for the shower curtain. If you already have a liner and want the curtain the same width, use a measuring tape to find the width of the liner. Otherwise, use a measuring tape to find the length of the tub or the shower curtain rod.

|
Adjust the measured width depending on the style you want. Add 20% to width for standard fullness. For a fuller look, add 50% and for an even fuller, luxurious look, double the width.

Find the vertical length for the shower curtain. Start by measuring from the bottom of a curtain ring on the shower curtain rod to the floor, or 2 inches from the rod to the floor for roller hooks.

Then deduct the desired height from the floor so the curtain won't drag when it is hung. Usually, you want to deduct 2 inches for a shower and 10 inches for a tub.
